Notes: You are bidding on a Late Production White Dial Seiko SBQK079 8F32-00P0 Perpetual High Accuracy Quartz Watch with Sapphire Crystal and Full Original Bracelet. Based on the serial, this uncommon model dates to September 2004. This is the brother to the black Fleiger dial SBQK081 as it shares the same caseback code. It was produced in the tail end of production of the venerable 8F series of perpetual calendar watches for the export market. The watch houses a high end Cal. 8F32 perpetual calendar quartz movement accurate to 20 seconds per year with date complication. For setting instructions you can check the Youtube video on how to reset it, but any watchmaker can properly change the battery when it indicates it is running low by skipping seconds to avoid the reset; the perpetual calendar needs no setting other than daylight savings. A few light scratches on the case and caseback; still in excellent shape. I believe the crystal is sapphire since it's reflective and completely scratch free. Lume is medium-strong despite age and the classic silver white dial is in perfect shape. Movement is clean and the battery was is probably last month by my watchmaker; should last another 8-10 years Water resistance is 100m but the watch has not been pressure tested. The original 20mm Seikos stainless clasp bracelet fits my 7.5 inches wrist with one extra microadjustment; there are 2 extra links; for a full bracelet set; the lower spring bar is rusted so some watchmaker assistance might need for removal. No box/paper/tags. This is not a common 8F32 watch to run into since it was an export version produced at the tail end of the 8F family of high accuracy quartz watches. Seiko discontinued production as they wanted to market high accurracy quartz in their Grand Seiko line - don't miss out on this classic watch with a stealthy high accuracy quartz movement!
Given that this is a pre-owned watch, service history is unknown, water resistance is not guaranteed and warranty unavailable. Sold AS IS.
